The Rainbow of Light Pony

This was the pony I did for the Epic Saturday Morning Cartoon Swap for the MLP arena. It went to Winter Sparkle, in Sweden.

What I was trying to depict in this piece was the battle between the Rainbow of Light and the Rainbow of Darkness. In My Little Pony, The rainbow of light started out as a little piece of rainbow and lived in a tiny locket. The Rainbow of Darkness was huge and lived in a sack. In the battle to save ponyland, the little piece of rainbow attacked and was consumed by the Rainbow of Darkness, but then just when all hope seemed lost, the Rainbow of Darkness started getting taken over by the little piece of Rainbow and became the Rainbow of Light.

This pony is supposed to be as if the Rainbow of Light decided to take the form of a pony. So this pony has both the Rainbow of Light and Darkness in her design. She also has no pupils, to give her that otherworldly, supernatural look.

The pictures don't do her justice. she really just sits and glows in the light.
